The all new Ranger A4 semi-automatic receivers are sculpted from high-strength aluminum by state-of-the-art CNC machines for exact dimensions and tolerance. The receivers have a black anodized finish with tasteful laser etching.
Camouflage is a must when out waterfowl hunting. Mossy Oak set out to create the perfect pure grass pattern by arranging each blade of grass in natural positions with shadows falling across each other on a thatch background. The thatch background, with its small grass moving from light to dark spots, creates the perfect depth and distance from the larger blades to give Shadow Grass Blades a realistic 3D appearance and superior ability to break up a hunter’s outline.
The chrome lined, ventilated rib, barrel has a 3” chamber, a lengthened forcing cone and is threaded for the Mobilchoke (Popular Beretta & Benelli thread) choke tube system. The outer finish of the barrel is a non-reflective matte black chrome and has a brass front bead.
The shotgun has a maximum capacity of 5 + 1 - 3” shot shells; five in the magazine tube with one in the chamber.
Each shotgun is provided with a set of different stock shims to assist the shooter in obtaining a personalized fit to the sighting plane. The removable stock shim will adjust for either the stock’s cast or drop dimension.
The new A4 is a gas operating system which includes a rotating bolt head (like the Beretta A400) and a proven gas operated system. This combination utilizes an optimum amount of combustion gases and the kinetic energy of the recoiling bolt to cycle the operating system while reducing felt recoil. This system is an incredible mix of very famous operating systems and results in the best combination of Function and comfort to shoot.
