With the FX Wildcat MKIII/Maverick Slug Power kit, you’ll be able to get just that extra bit of speed out of your FX Maverick or FX Wildcat MKIII air rifle.
Part of this kit is a .22 (5.5mm) pellet probe that’s adjustable in length by means of an Allen screw at the rear. With an included bush that’ll slide on with an interference fit, the probe is also suitable for the calibre .25 (6.35 mm). The seating position, i.e. how far the slugs are pushed into the barrel, influences the accuracy and this adjustable pellet probe provides you with the means to experiment with that. This is an important feature, as you can fine-tune on one specific slug.
Another part in the FX Wildcat MKIII/Maverick Slug Power kit that influences the speed is a tungsten hammer weight, which causes the valve to be opened for a longer period of time, thus releasing more pressurized air to thrust the slug/pellet out of the barrel.
All parts are machined with very tight tolerances and the set is suitable for use in all types of the FX Maverick and FX Wildcat MKIII.
